Commitment to the UN Global Compact 2024–2025 Strategy

Within the framework of the United Nations Global Compact 2024–2025 strategy, which proposes five transformative shifts to accelerate business impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Sofis reaffirms its commitment to ambitious, responsible, and sustainable business action. The company understands that it is not just about adhering to principles, but about leading with concrete actions that generate measurable impact on people, communities, and the planet.

Below are the actions Sofis is undertaking in line with each of the five strategic shifts:

1. From quantity to quality: more ambitious and responsible companies

Sofis goes beyond minimum compliance by integrating sustainable practices into the development of digital solutions, focusing on energy efficiency, accessibility, and transparency. In this regard, the company has joined the Forward Faster program of the Global Compact, committing to accelerate its contributions to the SDGs and drive transformative goals that raise the sustainability standard in the tech industry.

2. From isolated efforts to collective action

The organization promotes digital transformation projects in partnership with governments, international organizations, and civil society. It also shares its learnings and experiences with the Global Compact community, contributing recognized best practices to the Global Compact case library, such as its commitment to sustainable digital transformation (see case here). In doing so, Sofis strengthens sustainable digital ecosystems and amplifies the reach of its actions across Latin America and beyond.

3. From good intentions to measurable impact

Sofis integrates sustainability and governance indicators into its projects, measuring both resource savings and the social impact of its solutions. This commitment to transparency is reflected in the publication of its Communication on Progress (COP) in July 2025, an exercise that ensures accountability to the international community and demonstrates concrete progress in implementing the Global Compact Principles.

4. From limited support to strong ecosystems

The company actively participates in innovation and sustainability networks, creating spaces for training, applied research, and the dissemination of best practices. Among these initiatives are the Sofis Solutions Sustainable Digital Transformation Conferences, an annual event that brings together experts, companies, government, and academia to discuss and share experiences on the role of technology in building a more sustainable future.

5. From early digitalization to technological transformation

Sofis is committed to technology as an enabler of sustainable development. Through its #GreenSofis initiative, it promotes the adoption of environmental best practices in the development of digital solutions, integrating energy efficiency and social responsibility criteria.
