Sofis Solutions was born in 2005, in the city of Montevideo - Uruguay.
Since its inception, the main driver was and remains quality.
This applies to processes, products, and relationships with the environment.
The internationalization of the company It was one of the founding objectives. In the first stage, it expanded from Uruguay, and in the second stage, it opened offices in Latin American countries. Currently, it has offices in Montevideo, Panama, El Salvador and Ecuador.

We have a program that allows young people who are studying technology or related fields to gain their first work experience with us.
The goal of this program is to provide a real work context and professional practice to "learn by doing".
The experience within the context of Sofis Solutions projects and services helps young people to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical way and improve skills that boost creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving. Both aspects can support academic improvement and simultaneously increase work experience.
This program is designed for young people between 18 and 29 years old who wish to have their first work experience in the IT field or related areas.
Young people who meet the following criteria may apply:
Sofis will carry out an annual call. In that call, the required profiles will be announced. The dates of the calls are communicated through Sofis Solutions' social media and strategic partners such as the Forge Foundation.
The Training and Employment Program of the Forge Foundation is aimed at Latin American youth from low-income backgrounds. 80% of young people who complete the training program at Forge achieve quality job placement.
In collaboration with Forge, students from the Foundation have visited the offices of Sofis Solutions Montevideo to learn about what we do, the projects, and the technologies we use. During the activity, students were also able to ask questions and raise concerns, particularly regarding job skills and company values.

Dual Training is an educational modality in which a student completes learning hours both in an educational institution and a company—in our case, in the technology sector. This helps close the gap between the worlds of work and education by providing real-life teamwork experiences.
Dual Training Project with CES
For students of the Software Testing diploma, Sofis Solutions has participated as a training company. This training process includes paid training internships in IT companies. Each student becomes part of the testing teams and is supported by mentors who guide them in their learning process.
The project is part of the Youth Employment Law. It is supported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MTSS) and the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP), which funds the twenty full scholarships awarded.
At Sofis Solutions we do not engage in any activity involving child labor and we conduct due diligence activities with our suppliers, clients, and stakeholders to prevent our value chain from employing child labor.
At Sofis Solutions we support the elimination of all forms of forced or coerced labor, including slavery, debt bondage, abduction, human trafficking, among others.
