Single Registry of State Trials

Montevideo, June 18, 2018.

In May, the project to build an information system for the Unified Registry of State Lawsuits of Uruguay was launched. This system will be used by all legal departments of the Central Administration and will be implemented in two phases. Initially, the following ministries will participate:

  • Ministry of National Defense
  • Ministry of the Interior
  • Ministry of Economy and Finance
  • Ministry of Education and Culture
  • Ministry of Housing, Territorial Planning and Environment

The system will be administered by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. This project is part of the Budget Management Strengthening Program, which aims to enhance planning and execution capacities of the public budget, both at the level of our State Secretariat and of the institutions executing the budget.

Among the initial activities of the project, a Vision Workshop was held to collectively define the project's direction, with participation from the agencies involved in the first implementation phase and the administering bodies.
