History
Sofis Solutions was born in 2005, in the city of Montevideo - Uruguay.
Since its inception, the main driver was and remains quality. This applies to processes, products, and relationships with the environment.The internationalization of the company It was one of the founding objectives. In the first stage, it expanded from Uruguay, and in the second stage, it opened offices in Latin American countries. Currently, it has offices in Montevideo, Panama, El Salvador and Ecuador.

Sofis Solutions will host the 2nd Sustainable Digital Transformation Conference
Montevideo, October 2, 2023.
Between October 18 and November 1 of this year, Sofis Solutions will hold the II Sustainable Digital Transformation Sessions together with its collaborators from the different offices. This activity is part of the #GreenSofis initiative, aimed at establishing a culture of sustainability both internally and towards its stakeholders.
The Sustainable Digital Transformation Sessions are events in which Sofis Solutions collaborators from its four offices present progress in implementing the company’s sustainability objectives in each of its areas.
This year, through 8 presentation sessions, topics related to Artificial Intelligence, anti-corruption, geospatial data for the SDGs, dark design, and enterprise architecture for sustainability, among others, will be addressed.
During the sessions, objectives and new projects for the coming year are also defined. This year, the company joined the United Nations Global Compact Forward Faster Program, committing to the 5 areas: climate action, fair wages, gender, finance, and water resilience. According to the company, the #GreenSofis initiative will begin to be implemented with business partners in advancing these areas.
According to Director Santiago Atella, “The application of sustainable software engineering is one of the company’s most important practices in achieving our objectives. These sessions allow us to establish a culture of sustainability within the technical teams.”
Additionally, “The holistic approach to sustainability, incorporating environmental, social, and governance aspects into the solutions we create, is understood to add value to our clients, and the #GreenSofis initiative as a practice helps us achieve this.” said Gustavo Cirigliano, Director of Sofis Solutions.
