Sofis Solutions Test Management Office

Montevideo, March 3, 2021.

The development of software products focuses on ensuring the best user or customer experience through design, usability, interaction, and efficiency. To achieve this, software quality assurance plays a key role, as it validates and verifies the proper functioning of a product by implementing testing at all stages of development. This enables the early detection of bugs or defects and ensures the delivery of a high-quality product before it becomes operational.

The implementation of methodologies, technologies, and tools are key components for ensuring quality in software development. They allow for task automation, more agile testing cycles, and a reduction in potential errors during software deployment.

In this context, Sofis Solutions has implemented the Testing Management Office (TMO), an area focused on ensuring compliance with quality strategy and policies through the use of agile testing methods, processes, and tools. The TMO identifies non-conformities in the production deployment of products or services developed by Sofis Solutions' IT department.

The Testing Management Office (TMO) is aligned with the Project Management Office (PMO) at Sofis Solutions, as both focus on meeting the objectives and ensuring the quality of each project. This includes meeting delivery times, detecting and correcting errors, optimizing resources, and minimizing maintenance costs.

The main mission of the Testing Management Office is to ensure compliance with the quality strategy and testing policies at Sofis Solutions by implementing methodologies, standards, and tools that guarantee the delivery of reliable and high-quality solutions.
