Sofis Solutions Quito Presented at the Embassy of Uruguay in Ecuador

As part of Sofis Solutions’ expansion in Latin America, the company’s Directors participated in the presentation of the Sofis Solutions Quito office in Ecuador. As part of the business agenda, they met with the Directors of CIECI, the Business Council, and Ecuadorian IT companies. These meetings were organized by the Embassy of Uruguay in Ecuador.

In March, Sofis Solutions opened its Quito office, located at Leonidas Plaza N24-7351 and Mariscal Foch, Sonelsa Building, 6th Floor, Quito, Ecuador. This office serves projects in the South Pacific region and offers clients a broad portfolio of services in: Software Development, Big Data, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Solutions, Institutional Portals, Mobile Development, Emerging Technologies, and Business Process Digitization.

As part of the business agenda, Sofis Solutions’ Directors held introductory meetings with the Directors of CIECI, the Business Council, and Ecuadorian IT companies. The objective of these meetings, organized by the Embassy of Uruguay in Ecuador, was to present the company’s areas of work, value proposition for the South Pacific region, and portfolio of solutions and services.

Sofis Solutions has been working for more than 17 years on projects focused on Digital Government and solving challenges that contribute to Sustainable Development in Latin America, including:

• Ecuador Bovine Information System (Mobile Application): Through this application, users can manage the registration of livestock operators, send information on livestock identifiers, notify births and deaths, and manage movement guides, among other functionalities.
• Request for Certificates – Civil Registry: This project aimed to develop a tool allowing Uruguayan citizens to request and obtain birth, death, marriage, recognition, and divorce certificates (including foreign) online. The system enables direct download of documents from the web.
• Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Portal in Ecuador: Through this user-friendly and interactive platform, citizens and other stakeholders can access information to consult on progress, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives that contribute to achieving the SDGs in Ecuador. Information available on the portal includes reports, statistics, indicators, news, a viewer of national initiatives (public and private), multimedia files, among others.
