Sofis Solutions participated in the ASI Innovation Week 2022 event in El Salvador

Sofis Solutions took part in the fourth edition of the ASI Innovation Week 2022, organized by the Salvadoran Association of Industrialists (ASI). The topic presented was Electronic Signature and Electronic Invoice: Trends and Realities, which covered the background of electronic signatures and invoices, part of their history, common elements they must include, among others. 

On November 10, Sofis Solutions was invited by the Salvadoran Association of Industrialists (ASI) to participate as a speaker at the ASI Innovation Week 2022 event. The virtual meeting brought together decision-makers from various industries and sectors to promote an innovation-driven culture, encourage the use of new business strategies, and integrate value chains between entrepreneurs and industrialists in El Salvador. 

Sofis Solutions presented at the Industry Forum 4.0 and 5.0: Towards Cognitive Technologies in Industrial Production, with the presentation Electronic Signature and Electronic Invoice: Trends and Realities, delivered by Mtr. Cristian Portillo, Business Developer at Sofis Solutions, who shared the progress and challenges of implementing electronic signatures and invoices in Latin America. 

During his presentation, Mr. Portillo explained the legal and technical balance of electronic signatures and invoices, their background in Latin America, their common elements, the importance of their implementation, and the overall context of electronic signatures and invoices.

Cristian Portillo, Business Developer at Sofis Solutions.

To conclude his intervention, Mr. Portillo emphasized that there is no need to start from scratch; it is possible to adopt and adapt existing experiences and solutions related to electronic signatures and invoices, as well as focus on one’s core business and identify partners to support parallel operations. 

Under the slogan “Transforming People Towards an Innovative Industry”, ASI’s Innovation Week brought together more than 1,000 participants virtually, where experts from El Salvador and Latin America shared their knowledge and experience on innovative topics and global trends, aiming to strengthen the industrial sector through innovation and technological change.
