Sofis Solutions joins the Uruguay Country Brand

Montevideo, November 17, 2023.

Sofis Solutions obtained the license to use the Uruguay Country Brand, which represents the quality and values of the country's products and services.

Sofis Solutions joined the Uruguay Country Brand, which represents the values that make Uruguay unique as a country, as a market producing and exporting products and services.

On Friday, November 17, at an event held at the Uruguay Golf Club in Montevideo, attended by company members and representatives of Uruguay XXI, the obtaining of the license to use the brand was made official.

With this brand, national companies can present themselves in different markets reflecting the country’s identity, noted for having an accessible market, developed on the bases of respect, cooperation, free market competition, and a careful and balanced integration with nature.

Sofis Solutions will be able to use the Country Brand logo as a reference framework and presentation of the quality of its services and projects, both nationally and internationally.

"Receiving the Country Brand license in Uruguay, as a quality certification representing the country’s best values, including those related to sustainability, is also understood as the result of more than 17 years of work on sustainable digital transformation projects in the country and the region. We are very happy to have achieved it,” said Gustavo Cirigliano, Director of Sofis Solutions.

And Director Santiago Atella added: “This licensing is another step that reaffirms Sofis’ team commitment to applying best practices with a focus on sustainability.”

A brand valued in billions

Since 2023, the Country Brand includes an LSQA (LATU System Quality Austria) certification, following an agreement signed between Uruguay XXI and the Uruguayan Technological Laboratory (LATU).

This brand was valued at over US$50 billion in the latest Brand Finance Nations assessment in 2022, which considered several factors such as Uruguay’s credibility in international markets, seriousness in fulfilling obligations and agreements, political stability, and respect for laws and trade agreements, reported Uruguay XXI.
