Sofis Solutions in El Salvador carried out an Innovation Workshop on SDG 2: Zero Hunger. The initiative aimed to generate ideas and proposals that address the challenges faced by this SDG, thereby contributing to food security, malnutrition, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture.
Innovation is a key element in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. In this regard, Sofis Solutions is one of the companies that aligns its strategic objectives, management, and activities with the SDGs to contribute, from its sphere of influence, to a fairer, more equitable, prosperous, and sustainable world.
Under this commitment, on August 16, Sofis Solutions collaborators in El Salvador participated in an Innovation Workshop on SDG 2: Zero Hunger, organized by Sofis Solutions. The initiative aimed to generate ideas that address the challenges of SDG 2: Zero Hunger, to achieve food security, tackle the multiple causes of malnutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.

For Sofis Solutions, it is important to carry out these activities because they play a crucial role in driving creative and collaborative solutions that effectively address these challenges.”, stated Dannier Galicia, Innovation Manager at Sofis Solutions in El Salvador.
As a result of the workshop, the working teams generated a series of scalable solution proposals focused on improving risk assessment, contingency planning, and proactive strategies, as well as effective relief assistance for affected communities that can contribute to improving the quality of life of people in Latin America.
As part of the commitment to sustainability, its pillars, and the acceleration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Sofis Solutions implemented the GreenSofis methodology this year, aligned with a comprehensive approach to sustainability in digital transformation. Through this initiative, the company implements best practices in project management sustainability, web design, inclusion in software development, web accessibility, among others.
