History
Sofis Solutions was born in 2005, in the city of Montevideo - Uruguay.
Since its inception, the main driver was and remains quality. This applies to processes, products, and relationships with the environment.The internationalization of the company It was one of the founding objectives. In the first stage, it expanded from Uruguay, and in the second stage, it opened offices in Latin American countries. Currently, it has offices in Montevideo, Panama, El Salvador and Ecuador.

The vision of Sofis Solutions for 2025 is “to be one of the most innovative digital leaders in Latin America.” This vision drives innovation as the engine of the company’s daily operations. According to Sofis Solutions, they understand innovation as “the successful implementation of a new idea that creates value for their clients or stakeholders.”
Sofis Solutions has an Innovation Policy, which focuses on six main pillars: the organization’s commitment to innovation, focusing innovation on adding value to stakeholders, resource allocation by management for innovation, risk management and turning risks into opportunities, collaboration and partnerships with other institutions, and continuous improvement as the driver of innovation.
The prioritization of expansive innovation is focused on three main areas:
- Artificial Intelligence: Application of Artificial Intelligence to improve citizen services, internal processes, and solutions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- IoT: Application of Internet of Things components and solutions in quality improvement areas.
- SDGs & IT: Meeting the SDG targets represents a significant challenge for all organizations. Innovation and creativity to provide solutions that accelerate achieving these targets is one of the main drivers for idea generation.
