INACAL recognized Sofis Solutions with the National Quality Award

Montevideo, December 1, 2023

The company was recognized for its Quality Management System by the National Institute of Quality.

Sofis Solutions was awarded the 2023 National Quality Award in the Private Sector Services category in Montevideo, Uruguay, on November 29. The company received the accolade as part of the ceremony organized by the National Institute of Quality (INACAL). This award highlights private and public organizations in Uruguay that implement the Continuous Improvement Model developed by INACAL and demonstrate, through specific achievements, a systematic, comprehensive, sustained, and successful effort toward Total Quality Management.

To receive this recognition, Uruguayan organizations must go through multiple stages of evaluation, starting with a self-assessment and followed by evaluations from experts appointed by the Institute.

Members of Sofis Solutions received the award at the annual ceremony in Montevideo, attended by national authorities and representatives of INACAL. “This award is a very important recognition for the company and reaffirms the path we have been following to deliver services oriented toward excellence and in understanding the expectations and needs of our stakeholders,” said Director Gustavo Cirigliano.

Continuous Improvement Model

Sofis was recognized with the National Quality Award, alongside other Uruguayan organizations, for implementing the Continuous Improvement Model. The evaluation highlighted how the company works to enhance the quality of its services in client projects and in the collaboration with its employees.

The company operates a Quality Management System certified under UNIT-ISO 9001:2015 within its integrated management systems with a sustainability approach, alongside the Anti-Bribery Management System, Environmental Management System, and Innovation Management System. This ensures continuous improvement and customer satisfaction when receiving products, as well as employee satisfaction during project execution.

Receiving the 2023 National Quality Award allows Sofis Solutions to showcase its tools and strategies for quality improvement. INACAL highlighted that the company's mission is focused on improving the quality of life for Latin Americans through the digital transformation of organizations and technological inclusion.
