An Anti-Bribery Management System is made up of a set of interrelated guidelines that help organizations of any size, type, or nature of their operations to prevent, detect, mitigate, and address bribery in all its forms.
Organizations are exposed to various bribery risks, which can harm everything from their reputation to financial loss. A mechanism that helps establish preventive guidelines and controls to detect bribery is the Anti-Bribery Management System.
The purpose of this management system is to promote an ethical and transparent organizational culture, based on the prevention, detection, and mitigation of any possible act of bribery, in both internal and external contexts.
Organizations certified under the ISO 37001 standard demonstrate to their stakeholders their commitment to fighting bribery through guidelines, procedures, and actions designed to prevent associated risks.

This year, Sofis Solutions recertified its Anti-Bribery Management System, which guarantees that the company complies with the requirements of the standard and maintains measures to prevent, detect, and address any bribery situation. The certificate was granted by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) and the Uruguayan Institute of Technical Standards (UNIT).
Sofis Solutions’ Anti-Bribery Management System contributes to two of the targets (16.5 and 16.6) of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Promote just, peaceful, and inclusive societies, which seeks to work comprehensively to reduce bribery and corruption in all its forms.
