Open-source technologies for automation and interoperability

At Sofis, we drive open-source initiatives focused on automation, integration, and interoperability within modern architectures. These initiatives aim to facilitate the creation of solutions that are scalable, extensible, and ready for integration with diverse technological environments. Today, we are releasing three projects that cover the entire lifecycle: modeling processes and cases, and executing them.

Initiatives
The three projects are complementary parts of the same chain: two modeling libraries that run in the browser and an engine that executes and orchestrates the modeled components. They can be adopted separately or in combination.

Not all work follows a fixed order. CMMN allows for the representation of business cases—such as requests, claims, or case files—where tasks are triggered based on the manager's judgment, complementing BPMN modeling where sequential flow falls short.
