The system is used to regulate truck access to the Port of Nueva Palmira, which is done through a system of parking lots and pre-boarding areas.
Trucks entering the port terminals must follow a predefined circuit in which they interact with the National Transportation Directorate to verify that the truck is authorized and with the National Customs Directorate to verify that the truck has completed the corresponding procedures and assign the channel that allows unloading.
