Traceability of Honey

Beekeeping in Uruguay is one of the fastest-growing activities in recent years, with exports reaching 2020. Traceability of this product from the hive to the exporter is a critical factor for exports. In this regard, the General Directorate of Farms of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries decided to implement a computerized traceability system that can be used by any stakeholder at any time and from any location.
