The purpose of the study was to carry out a regional-level analysis with the aim of identifying and assessing the maturity level of the member countries of the Forum of Government Accounting Offices of Latin America (FOCAL), currently composed of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The analysis covered the process of implementing digital technologies and innovative solutions in Public Financial Management (PFM), including the identification of progress and areas for improvement in each country. This information seeks to guide and define strategies to continue promoting similar initiatives in other countries of the region.
