Sofis Solutions was present at the Job Fair of the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad ORT, held in Montevideo, Uruguay.
At the event, aimed at students and graduates of the faculty, young people were able to learn about the job opportunities offered by Sofis Solutions, such as the program “My First Job in IT”. This initiative provides initial work experience for young people studying careers related to the IT field.
To join the “My First Job in IT” program, applicants must be between 18 and 29 years old, have completed their high school studies, be enrolled in a tertiary degree related to the technology sector or similar fields, and also take and pass the Sofis Solutions selection exam.
Through this program, Sofis Solutions promotes the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically number 8, which focuses on access to work and economic development.
The “My First Job in IT” initiative allows university students to enhance their experiences, learn about the labor market, and develop their skills and knowledge through practical involvement in Sofis Solutions’ projects and services.
At the Job Fair of the Faculty of Engineering at ORT, Sofis Solutions provided information about its organizational culture. Many of the young people visiting the company’s booth were interested in Sofis Solutions’ drive for sustainable digital innovation.
Additionally, Sofis Solutions shared information about the annual job openings. These vacancies can be viewed in detail on the LinkedIn platform, where applicants can submit proposals to join the company’s team.
The technology market in Uruguay has a strong employment presence according to the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technologies (CUTI). The demand for people with IT knowledge is very high, and the opportunities for professional growth are varied. At the Job Fair, young students had the chance to get closer to the initiatives of Sofis Solutions and other organizations to better understand the realities of the sector.
