The State's Single Trial Registry is put into operation

Montevideo, April 14, 2019.

Last week, the RUJE was put into operation with the agencies participating in the first phase of system implementation. This phase includes the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Housing, Territorial Planning, and Environment.

A total of 174 users have joined this collaborative tool, which enables the comprehensive registration and management of lawsuits involving the Uruguayan State. These users participated in training sessions held between January 15, 2019, and February 28, 2019.

In the next phase, planned for May 2019, other agencies of the Central Administration will be trained for incorporation into the system in June.

RUJE’s vision is to "provide tools to improve the management of lawsuits involving the State. Generate quality information collaboratively to facilitate decision-making." The project is led by the Ministry of Education and Culture and is funded by the Budget Management Strengthening Program of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
