Yesterday, Sofis Solutions, through the Salvadoran Educational Management Information System (SIGES), participated in the inauguration of an educational center that is part of the Integrated Systems (SI) of FOMILENIO II. This inauguration was part of the celebrations for the fourth anniversary of this organization and included the setup of an informational stand to showcase to attendees and government authorities from El Salvador and the United States the achievements and progress made during the consultancy "Design and Implementation of an Educational Information System for the Ministry of Education," a project carried out with the technical and financial support of FOMILENIO II of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
The event took place within the inauguration of the Educational Complex "Prof. Pablo Soriano Urquilla", located in San Pedro Puxtla, Ahuachapán, and was attended by authorities from the Government of El Salvador, the local community, FOMILENIO II, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the implementers of various consultancies in the Human Capital area.
This educational center works daily with the SIGES educational platform developed by Sofis Solutions, as expressed by José Carlos Barraza, Director of the Educational Complex "Prof. Pablo Soriano Urquilla", San Pedro Puxtla, Ahuachapán. "We like to improve processes that will benefit the educational center, and with the implementation of SIGES we have a solid work team including the IT staff member, the academic records administrator, and the teachers. Together, we make our best effort to ensure everything is entered on time."

The objective of SIGES is to provide the Ministry of Education of El Salvador with a modern digital platform through software that consolidates, categorizes, and monitors real-time information about the Salvadoran education system. This software includes modules for the management of students, teachers, educational centers, educational statistics, school finances, and a management information system.
