The Integrated Social Areas Information System (SIIAS) received the Inter-American Award for Innovation in Effective Public Management from the OAS – 2015 Edition in the category Innovation in Planning and/or Evaluation of Public Policies.
Sofis Solutions developed the Data Extraction and Transformation component for the construction of the indicators. In this way, indicators can be obtained from data provided by agencies such as the Ministry of Public Health, the Administration of Public Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, among others.
The "Inter-American Award for Innovation in Effective Public Management" is an initiative of the Department for Effective Public Management that seeks to recognize innovations in public management, systematize them, incentivize them, and promote them as useful experiences that can be replicated elsewhere. This effort aims to motivate innovation in the public sector and, in turn, contribute to making public institutions in the Americas increasingly transparent, effective, and equipped with mechanisms for citizen participation.
