Sofis Solutions developed a mobile application for Plan Ceibal that allows teachers to take attendance directly from a device. The application is cross-platform and was implemented using the Ionic framework.
The app enables each teacher taking attendance from their phone to:
- Select an educational center where attendance will be taken
- Select a shift, schedule, and group with the subject they teach
- Open the group to view students and record the corresponding attendance marks.
- Send the attendance marks to the corresponding Council’s corporate system for processing.
