Registry of Commercial Service Providers

National Registry of Service Providers under MICI Supervision

Institutional problem

The registration and updating of commercial service providers relied on in-person procedures and paper files. Without a consolidated digital registry, verifying the validity of an authorization or reviewing the full list of providers required manual effort for each inquiry.

Developed solution

A registration system that manages the entire enrollment cycle: online application, document upload and validation, review by the relevant department, and the determination and status maintenance of each provider, with traceability for every stage of the file.

Beneficiaries

Commercial providers managing their registration and updates, the Ministry departments responsible for registration and oversight, and those needing to verify a provider's authorization.

Result

The registry is now available online, featuring a traceable record and a status that can be checked; this reduces processing times and provides the institution with a unified database covering the entire universe of service providers.

Registry Management System

Registration and supervision of e-commerce activity

Institutional problem

E-commerce regulation requires registering and supervising the entities authorized to operate. Without a dedicated management platform, the competent authority could not maintain the registry or monitor each registrant's compliance with the agility the sector demands.

Developed solution

Registry management system supporting registration, document evaluation, decision-making, and subsequent monitoring of registered entities, featuring distinct profiles for the registrant and the Directorate's technical team.

Beneficiaries

E-commerce stakeholders required to register, the General Directorate of E-Commerce as the enforcement authority, and the digital ecosystem operating under verifiable rules.

Result

The Directorate has the tool to manage its registry digitally and maintain oversight of the sector based on up-to-date information.
